nỗi ḷng của ông cho cậu con trai Conor Clapton. Cậu bé đă rời khỏi ông để đến
thiên đường sau một tai nạn đáng tiếc năm 1991, khi cô bảo mẫu sơ ư đă để cậu ḅ
ra cửa sổ của một toà nhà ở thành phố New York.

if I saw you in Heaven?" nhưng ông cũng biết rằng "I just can't stay here in
Heaven ...."
